With over 21 years of experience, Laura Kim has established herself as one of Australia’s leading hair colour specialists and educators. Her career began in Seoul, where she worked as a makeup artist and hairstylist before contributing to Seoul Fashion Week and editorial publications.
In 2005 she moved to Australia, where she collaborated with many creative hairstylists, including editorial experts for prestigious fashion and beauty publications like Cosmopolitan.
After gaining significant experience Laura opened her first hair salon, Solace (now Studio Muse), in Angel Place, Sydney CBD. Since 2015, she has partnered with Aveda and is now their National Ambassador here in Australia. Laura’s journey has allowed her to learn from top artists and participate in esteemed events such as Australian Fashion Week and the David Jones fashion show; she also further enhanced her skills at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in 2016.
Over the years of working in salons, Laura has refined her ability to understand individual styles, culminating in the creation of an outstanding team of hair artists at Studio Muse.
